Man-Trap Cubicles

A security vestibule, also known as a security booth or a man trap, is a security apparatus designed to oversee and manage the operation of two interlocking doors. Interlocking doors are configured to prevent simultaneous opening. Essentially, while one door can be unlocked and swung open, the other remains locked and shut. Within this space between the interlocking doors lies a confined and secure area, designed to accommodate only one individual at a time.

These access control booths serve as effective dividers between an unsecured zone and a secured one. Man traps find their ideal application in locations requiring heightened security, such as cash handling facilities, areas handling sensitive data, security monitoring rooms, critical research laboratories, jewellery shops, and vaults.
